The Gateway to Inner Awareness and the Real You

The Edge of Reality

What is it about our perception, of our point in time and space, that makes us believe that we are the only one? What is our moment that is passing in front of our eyes and within our mind, the only point from which to refer anything?

Why is it that so many are resistant to the idea that the past and the future exist simultaneously? For the future, their ‘now’ is the most important now, and we are but a memory of the past. To us, our past is the past; we are the now and the future hasn’t happened yet. How ridiculous.

When we look at space and time, surely we have to understand we are not that important when it comes to the identification of the total and complete reality of time and space. Why are we the ones ‘chosen’ in this very moment to exist when all else either did happen, or has not happened yet? Can you see my point?

It is a farce to believe in oneself as being the single point of relativity to which all things relate. And so we must look always at time and space as a collective movement of thought and memory with multiple ‘consciousnesses’ existing as multiple individual thoughts – like you and I – within the entire spectrum of reality on multiple dimensions and in multiple space-time locations.

In a reality that, to our perception, takes so long to move anywhere significant, our point in time – our moment – is really nothing more than one of a seemingly infinite number of them. And so space and time co-exist together in all places. The future and the past co-exist with the now. It is all a point of relativity.

Someone sitting in the future who is able to travel back to the past within the corridor of their mind will come back to us as their past, and revisit it as something that ‘was’. To us, they come from an inexplicable future, one that we cannot understand if – and that is ‘if’ – we look at time as being linear and based on one single point of our conscious thought of reckoning of what reality ‘is’ or ‘is not’.

And so I challenge you, I ask you, I implore you … remove your sense of independence from space and time from this ‘moment’ of ‘you’. Remove your sense of identification of the importance of every moment away from your moment of you.

Take a look – a bigger look – at the power of reality as a construct of thought and memory. Make sure at all times you are not constrained into the personal identification of self by seeing this moment in time as being all that exists at the centre point of everything. Because that is a farce.

Only the awareness of the ‘all’ within the many can explain the co-existent realities within this program that move amongst us, within us and around us every day on multiple dimensions, in multiple space and time locations, on multiple planets and in multiple places.

… And given this is all an illusion, then what is Real exists beyond even the perception of this single point of reality within this single frame of existence called Earth.

There is so much more to see, and so much more to say and so much more to hear. But without this simple identification of fact, one can never remove themselves from their absolute self as being the totality of reality.

From the awareness of ‘what you are’ the point of self is the lowest note, and we should embrace ‘what we are’ by being open on our lowest note of consciousness so we may understand the ‘illusion of reality’ firstly.

Only then, we may travel to ‘reality’.

Awareness and acceptance.

So often these are seen as one in the same, but they are in fact very different. When we are faced with the reality to which we are presented – our life, and indeed all life everywhere – we are also faced with what we perceive is a choice:

“What do we accept and what do we not accept?”

As one becomes more aware of who and what they are, the gravity of the truth of this reality begins to set in. One starts to question why their life is the way it is, and why the world is the way it is. Often, fear ensues because of the perceived lack of choices and the feelings that in some circumstances there appears to be no choices at all. That is where acceptance starts to form. But it is not acceptance based upon a decision one has made of their own volition; it is an acceptance based upon fear. Sometimes it is then the fear of having to accept that creates even more fear. We are then caught up in a cycle of fear itself with the fear of having to accept, when we should have the free will and right to choose what we want to choose.

This life, this world is so full of what tells you what you must accept. Reality itself, as an energy of cyclic creative thought and memory, attempts to enforce acceptance of its rules and regulations every day. But when one becomes more aware, resistance begins.

And that is why we must look at the distinction between acceptance and awareness. It is an important clause of awareness to understand – truly understand. There are things we can change, things we cannot change. And because we are inhabiting a physical body, responding and having to live within a physical reality – at least for now – all of our senses and ideologies, needs and desires and choices for free will, grind against the reality that we are viewing without awareness.

So what is awareness? Awareness cannot come from you, alone. Awareness is a deeper understanding and uncovering of the true nature of reality. Beyond the prison walls of thought and memory. Beyond what life itself and those around you in your life tell you who and what you should be. What you really are is completely aware. It is Real. We are the experience of thought and memory through the illusion of separation. Why we are here, is an entirely different story and one I can tell at another time.

However, the facts still remain. The only way to be aware is to open your mind and your heart to a dual consciousness. Being aware that everything we see and feel and touch is not everything there is. There is a greater part of us operating within us. To be in touch with that part of us is the only way to become truly aware. When we become aware, we look at everything differently. Everything. Without exception. Our lives, our relationships, our jobs, our outer reality in its entirety. Our awareness allows us to see how and why we do what we do. Our awareness allows us to see how and why others around us do what they do. Sometimes they are not compatible, and our awareness allows us to see that too.

And that is where awareness and acceptance meet. They meet here because when we are responding to the awareness within, and not reacting to the outer experience we call life, we are able to navigate and choose what we will do and why we do it. Awareness reveals to us a way to look ahead to a future that is filled with purpose, but not always preference. And when one walks the pathway of the journey of life with awareness, some things you will choose to accept and some things you will choose not to accept.

To someone observing your thoughts, feelings and actions, your acceptance of some things will not necessarily make sense to them. And it may never whilst they are operating purely on a thought-and-memory singular consciousness of separation itself. And so acceptance becomes a matter of awareness, where all things are seen from a greater perspective.

Imagine walking a pathway and have reached a fork in the road. Your travelling companion gives you every good reason why turning ‘right’ is the way to go. It makes sense. The sign even clearly gives all the indications. Everything so far seems to suggest ‘right’ is the correct way. And yet, you have already risen above the intersection of your life, and seen everything that you are experiencing from a different point of view. A higher vision, with a far more reaching view of the road ahead. You know the road to the left is the only way to get you where you need to go. And so you look at the forked intersection, and you decide you are going left. It matters not what your companion does. You are responsible for your thoughts, actions and feelings. That is why sometimes, when the greater journey mergers through your awareness with the journey of your life, at times your decisions will seem unacceptable to others. All that matters is they are acceptable to you. There is that acceptance again, but this time because of your awareness. You make decisions without fear, without judgement, without reaction and without needing another’s approval. Their reaction does not affect you, it only affects them.

And so when we look at awareness and acceptance, we must look at awareness as the director of your thoughts and actions. When you are aware, and hope no longer becomes a point of contention between your heart and mind in the struggle of whether or not to hold on, or let it go and just accept is no longer relevant.

You become aware. You remember you are more than who you believe you are. You realise you always have been. You realise what you are has a purpose here. How you live your life may need to change entirely, or focus in a different direction. And why did you become aware? Because you let go of the separation value of your self. You connected to what you are. You opened a Gateway in your mind to what is Real beyond illusion. You embraced awareness because you embraced love in its truest form.

And that, is all that matters.

Our perception and experience of our life in time is only as fixed as we believe it is. Time is not fixed, and nor are you. Time can be rewritten depending on the power of the Inner sound you become aware of.

Vortex of stars central light the journey home time to wake-up

Our hopes and aspirations are often diminished when the sameness enters our lives again and again. However, the reality we live in can only be seen for what it is when the energy of awareness from beyond our perception, beyond the illusion of life, enters to deliver what is “real”. One such communication came in the early waking hours a few days ago …

“The human body is naturally inclined to follow the will of the past. But when we take hold and override the consciousness of the body – the physical manifestation of our reality – then we can redirect and override the natural instincts of time and space to go round and round again.

What is it within the memory that keeps the cycle going round and round again? It is the need to return to itself. The need to reactivate memory, and the need to become one with the sameness that keeps the cycle going that keeps the endless repeat of life and death, day after day, manifesting as your reality.

And so what is it to remember more than who you believe you are? It is to open the doorway – the Gateway – of your mind to become something else, something more than who you believe you are. To become ‘what’ you are. Only ‘what’ you are is outside the loop of the past, beyond time and space. Beyond reality, as it were.

Only ‘what’ you are can redirect your thinking, your physical attributes of life, your power of undertaking, that will actually change the manifestation of reality you experience day after day.

To become ‘what’ you are is to remember from whence you came, and where you need to go. One’s purpose is derived from the greater memory that one has within, and when one taps into that greater memory and becomes it, and represents the light of ‘what’ you are through the physical consciousness, then the aeons of time can no longer hold you and the time and space relativity no longer controls you; the way ahead is aligned to the Real exit from the sameness that you are experiencing as your life every day.

There is a chamber of memory with inside each one of us that was placed there before you came here, for you to enter within. And that memory must be reactivated for you to become aware that you are so much more than who you believe you are.

And that ‘what’ you are is the saviour you have been looking for. All outward action comes from an inner awareness. Only then are you on your pathway home, and your pathway to a greater purpose of which you seek.

That is all.”

I would like to ask you a question – do any of your memories or experiences in your life that keep re-occurring feel like they do not belong to you? Do you have recurring patterns of experiences? People? Jobs? Relationships? Do you sit down sometimes and question … why does this keep happening? What is going on?

We are all familiar with the concept of karma. Of course we are. Karma is a very well understood topic by people who dig a little bit deeper into what life is about. It is a part of the human experience. We have all lived before, and we will all live again. That is the nature of time. We all have an energy of a soul and spirit from before and during this life, and we will continue on after we depart this life. We have lived past lives that explore different lifestyles, ideas, concepts, different emotional stages and levels of awareness of what life is.

And so karma is in essence the opposites of the human equation. How we deal with fear, power, grief. How we deal with so many things such as happiness, giving, love and rejection – so many things the human condition and experience encompasses. We move from one experience to another, learning, observing and exploring the journey called life.

There is a magnetic return energy with karma – of course there is. Everything goes round and returns in smaller and then ever widening circles of experience. It is called the magnetic law. The rotation of compliance. The Journey Home book speaks about this and other associated topics in great depth.

For this blog, let us just focus on karma. What if not all of the memories you hold – and therefore not all the feelings and experiences you believe you have had – belong to you? What if some of the memories you hold were never supposed to be yours? Could this explain why things that re-occur in your life make you scratch your head and ask, “Why is this happening to me again?” and “What possible value is there in this again for me to learn from this?”

Often, in my experience and in the experience of many people I help, there does not seem to be a point to some of the memories uncovered.

Let’s cross over to a different topic for a moment. Let’s talk about time. Now, you know how much I love to talk about time so let’s just spend a moment on it. You have heard me mention before that time does not actually exist, and yet we all live our life like it does. That makes it an even more fascinating subject! So let us take the reality of what ‘time’ actually is – the passage from one memory and moment to the next. You have heard me say before that all time is also simultaneous – the past and the future, our past lives and future lives, are all happening right now, as you read this, on different frequencies of this experience and in different locations in this space. Time does not exist, but all memory does.

The movement of our consciousness ‘through time’ gives the perception that time is passing. But at the end of it all, time itself does not exist. It is a loop of memory. But was it really meant to be this way?

The thing about time is that the past creates the future, and the future creates the past. But if you take a look around you in your life, I would ask you one question – does the world seem right? Does it seem in balance? Does it seem everything is where it should be? I would expect everyone would have to say “No”. For anyone who said yes, I would say you are not looking hard enough.

The world is not in balance. It is in fact grossly out of balance .. in the wrong direction. So many things in this experience called life are geared towards power, manipulation and unfairness. When we look at that, we have to then take a look at time. If time is a series of memories that all exist at the same time, and the past affects the future .. and the future affects the past .. then they are mutually inter-dependent. Which simply means they need each other.

As conscious human beings, we do not readily and consciously have a memory of the future available to us. So what happens when the future (one that is the result of an out-of-balance reality) actively connects to the past? Because the past actively connects to the future. But what does this have to do with memory, and what it does it have to do with karma?

Let us look at it this way – the program of life, the energy of life, the cycle of life, the sameness of life .. is determined to stay the same. The powerful are in power; the powerless are without power. That is the rule here. So therefore, the future has the advantage point of visibility across the history of time including our now. What if it actively imprinted memories deep inside our psyche? What if it imprinted memories and experiences, even lifetimes, into our past and reflected those memories back to us again – like a mirror – into our now so we believe things that never actually happened, did happen.

What if our responses based upon uncertainty, unsureness, remorse and fear are dis-empowering us so we cannot see the true beauty and true depth, strength and clarity of who and what we are? What if some of the things we hold onto every day, in every part of our life … were simply not true? We would need to re-evaluate. We sure would.

And so, we look at karma as a very real aspect of an energy of experience recurring from one life to the next, from one experience to the next throughout the history of mankind, in order to gain awareness for the sole as part of a sole group as we all travel along a spiritual journey that is called humanity. But then we need to also have to look at a system of life we live in now, that is cyclic and does not want people to change.

Do you want a better future? I’ll bet you do. Do you want the best future you can have? Absolutely you do.

That being the case, I would ask you to take a look. Be open. Take a look at your life, at the psychic pattern of things that happen in your life. Take a look at the things you experience, the members you have, the feelings you have got, and ask yourself … do they make sense?

If the answer is ‘maybe not’, then perhaps reality itself is trying to keep you in an old program. Perhaps the future is trying to maintain a powerbase that is out of balance.

That being so, it makes it so important to look deeply within ourselves. To look deep within the real memories we carry of what we really are. Only our inner self, our real memories, our real self can determine what is real to us.

I have had so many people uncover memories and feelings, entire lifetimes through intuitive readings I have done, psychic readings and timeline readings … where their memories do not match the reality of what is happening, and what is happening cannot be traced back to karmic memory.

There is something fundamentally wrong with the memory structure of life. And so I ask the simple question – does everything you experience in life make sense? Do the cyclic and repetitive patterns that perhaps because you grief, strain and confusion keep you in the same space unecessarily? Spinning around, trying to figure it out? Maybe, just maybe, there is nothing to figure out at all.

Maybe a new future is available when we take a moment to understand we are more than the memory we are created to be.

We have inside of us something very special that will lead us to a new future, that will bypass obsolete and false memory .. and we have something inside of us that will show us the way.

The Journey Home is built upon the energy of awareness and remembering. Knowing what we are, deep inside, so the depth of awareness can come to the surface and change who we are so much for the better. It can show as the Gateway to our mind to leave the sameness and the old life behind. Our inner being can make every aspect of who and what we are, real. It can help us bypass the time loop to have a new future, to travel somewhere else where there is an exit from the sameness of our life.

I hope the question of karma, memory and cyclic patterns perhaps raises a new question inside of you.

Without understanding the difference between ‘who’ you are and ‘what’ you are, one cannot move anywhere new. ‘Who’ we are – the self – is a product of thought and memory that allows us to live and exist within life itself. Very important! Of course it is.

However, it is ‘what’ we are that is Real. It is the energy beyond life, beyond thought and memory, beyond time even that is both where we have come from, and where we all return to .. after all, it is ‘what’ we are.

This video is both informative and visual, so best to watch this one, rather than just read it. I hope you enjoy. Remember, what you are is ‘you’ beyond the identification of our ‘self’. Listen inwardly, and I hope to hear from you – Jason.

We exist within a chamber of memory. It is hard to define the structure of reality we live within from the inside. So whether we call that a program, or a construct, a dream or a cube – it is all the same. What matters is that we understand the concept. Because from with inside reality, we cannot see it as we would from the outside. We do not have the capacity to truly define our reality. So we must rely upon what comes from beyond our reality to define the reality we exist within.

And so we have to look at having a conversation that allows us to understand the nature of our reality from a higher perspective, rather than define it simply with our consciousness. We exist inside a chamber. Let’s call it a chamber because it is a container of memory. We exist within a chamber of memory. Time is an experience within this chamber of memory. Our past, our future – it all exists as memory. We move through memories as a conscious sentient being experiencing the passage of one memory to the next.

We experience that movement as time, but time itself does not exist. We are aware of its passage because of our relativity to memory. And so when we look at our reality we look at a single fact: we exist within a construct of memory, and our lives are the movement of memory through the experience of the creation of life, contained within a chamber of memory that we call “reality”.

From within this reality we see so many aspects of reality that are relative only to our own perception, and to our own thoughts and experiences. When we look at the entirety of this construct of reality, this chamber of memory, the fact we only perceive around 1/10billionth of what we can identify with our eyes, ears and physical senses is an important point in understanding why it is so important to delve deeper inside our very being, our own minds and the greater part of ourselves. That part is totally aware, and is able to see all things. The repetitive nature of life itself. The cyclic movement of memory and events we experience as an all-too-familiar rotation of compliance to the sameness that is called expectation of life.

But what if we stopped expecting life to be what it is? What if we started expecting nothing, and started to experience life through the light of what we are? And through the light of what we are were able to be aware of our own higher mind, our inner being, and to be aware there is so much more beyond our life and our perception of self then we ever thought possible.

Why is it that we dismiss the thoughts and feelings that there has to be more, that this can’t be all there is? What happens after we die? What happens that we don’t understand whilst we are alive? These questions are so important. Why is it that we dismiss them through our life because we don’t have time to answer them, or we become inundated with expectations of our life from ourselves. Therefore, we don’t “take time” to “make time” to “have the time” to be quite within, and to move our focus to an inner part of ourselves, and to become aware of a deeper part that is available and can give us answers – a higher level of ourselves that sees things oh, so clearly.

And so we have to make a choice. That choice is whether we remain within the expectation of life, moving through memory, one thought to the next, one cycle to the next, one expectation to the next. Infused and confused by the influx of life and memory all around us.

Or, we make a choice to stand still and open our mind beyond the memory that we perceive. Beyond the person we believe we are. And we give ourselves permission to ask those questions again.

Who are we really? Why are we here? How did I get here? And where am I going? What is it that drives me to think and wonder and feel these things? Can I release my expectations upon myself, and have no perception of reality so I can understand and become aware of something more than who I believe I am?

And if I can do that, who will I become? And that is the most powerful and interesting thing of all. Because to become something more than who you currently are, to awaken what you are from within, is surely the greatest movement you can make within this reality. Because reality itself then takes on a new dimension of awareness. And the true movement you have made by standing still and going within is greater than any movement you can make outwardly, bypassing thought and memory. Bypassing the cyclic nature of this program, this chamber of life and memory. Entering a new corridor of existence that allows you to observe what was, and move through memory with a higher awareness and a deeper understanding than what the past – as memory – will ever offer up.

After all, this reality has one job and one job only – to maintain the sameness at all costs. By asking the question and giving yourself permission to ask it, you have one job only. And that is to remember that you are more than who you believe you are, and that what you are will take you on a new journey. Open up a new program to travel through this chamber of memory to somewhere new.

So instead of time moving through you and carrying you along with its thought and memory, you take on the awareness of what you are and you move through time instead.

Home is within you - The Journey Home

When I was a young man I used to look up and wonder what on earth I was doing here.

I was never someone who found a purpose or a place. I always felt like someone displaced; someone who stood on the edge of a group of people, but never in the middle. In society, but not of it. The things I wondered and thought about the world – its people, the stars, life itself and what it’s all about … didn’t seem to really cross peoples’ minds for more than a moment before they went back to the things that interested them .. and bored me. That made me feel even more alone.

I started to wonder whether there was even something wrong with me. Was it just that I didn’t ‘get it’? Was it something that everyone else just seem to ‘know’ but I just couldn’t get a handle on?

Everyone seemed so content and focused on what mattered to them, or what took their attention. Everyone seemed to know what activity or job or interest mattered to them, what they were interested in, what they wanted to do. All the things that constitute what you call ‘life’.

But it was never really ever something that I could define for myself. I certainly couldn’t understand it in a way that made me feel I had some type of relationship with life, let alone a feeling of finding my place. Peace even. I never did.

When I was very young, about 9, I knew I wanted to be an aeronautical engineer before I even knew how to spell the words, or really even know what that would mean to other people. All I knew was that it was to do with craft to move amongst the skies or stars, or something like that.

I really had no idea. Just a knowing. It was as if it was a memory. I drew, I wrote, I wondered .. always these things seem to be based anywhere but here.

When I was 18 I lived with my parents in a separate living area off the main house. It was an old extension, and I had to go out the old back door and down a short, covered flight of stairs to get to my ground floor bedroom. It was a fairly large room with a lovely fireplace. It sounds impressive, but really if you could see it you’d see it wasn’t. Halfway down the stairs that day, I stopped dead. I felt something that stopped me mid-step.

The best way I can describe it to you is .. it was a ‘sound’. A vibration. it started to shake what I now know was my energy field. We all have an energy field, but I was not really aware of it then. Anyone who knows about energy fields (there are not many, I can tell you) will tell you it is our first and most sensitive response to anything that happens. I could feel the pulsation of this sound. It was so strong I had to reach out and steady myself against a brick wall, I felt so off-balance.

Suddenly, I felt an unmistakable sensation come over me. It was a knowing. A total knowing. I knew I was here for something ‘big’. Something important. Not that I was important. Not at all. I was a part of something that mattered more than .. anything! It made me feel extremely ‘aware’ .. and shaken. Moments later the sound faded, and it was all gone. I was left there on the stairs, standing in shock, wondering what on earth had happened.

From that moment onwards the feelings I’d always had became stronger. Much stronger. I needed to know even more about the purpose of it all. I felt desperate. Have we lived before? What is life? What is beyond what we can see? Beyond the skies? Why does everything in this life and world seem just so off-key, even wrong, in this place that we call planet Earth? Why do I feel like I do? Do others feel this way? What am I looking for? What do my dreams mean? Where am I? Who am I? What am I? I even got to the point where I started lying on our tin shed roof, looking up at the stars and waiting for something .. anything to happen that would give me a clue or an answer of some kind.

Looking back, I smile at my naïveté. And yet there is a very serious side to this. I hoped and unexpected answers to come to me; to match my thoughts and feelings based on my science-fiction imagination and the fascination that I have. But nothing came from the stars, at least not in those stars.

But something did come from beyond them.

A few years later, in 1993, after attending many more discussion groups, workshops and meditation sessions I continued to do my own research into dreams, past lives, energy, quantum physics, holographic theory, spiritual enlightenment… you name it. So many fascinating subjects, bit unfortunately nothing offered solid answers to what I felt. So many were standing still, thinking they were reaching the epitome of their new age philosophy. But every time they fell short with answers to basic questions. I kept searching, and eventually through a friendly couple who ran a meditation class, I stumbled upon a workshop being run by a renowned lady who, I was told, was pretty amazing. She was, and more. Many years later, I would become her husband. Her name was Diane.

Diane was a highly respected medium, powerfully accurate psychic and researcher. She was running a full day workshop called “The Brotherhood of Light”, helping people to start to remember we are not alone here, and we are all connected beyond the individual self. Diane spoke about light being is all there really is, for to be aware – to be enlightened – is to remember the energy of ‘what’ we are is a total remembering beyond our self identity. The awareness of what is Real. And so the workshop was about touching the true memory of ‘what’ we really are, beyond our perceptions of personality and self-identity.

That began a journey for me I could never have imagined. Over the years I heard and experienced things that challenged all of my preconceived ideas and sense what was real, and what was illusion. It filled my heart. These experiences made me look into the very depth of who I was as a person, and so far beyond it. I learned how to reach beyond my thoughts into my feelings. Into the innermost part of my own being. To remember ‘what’ I really am beyond who I believed myself to be.

That journey has been the most precious and revealing, rewarding, humbling and exciting journey. That’s why it’s called “The Journey Home” for anyone who chooses to take it.

As you will see from The Journey Home website, my wife Diane had already been on her journey for 15 years before I met her. That was 27 years ago. Diane and I spent nearly three beautiful decades together as we researched what reality is, and explored and experienced what is beyond it.

Diane pioneered new levels of awareness. She went beyond boundaries of belief and delved deeper to research the mind and energy beyond anyone that I know of, anywhere. Diane never stopped, and always kept asking questions. We looked into the very nature of reality of life on planet Earth.

I found answers to questions of how I feel, and why I felt that way. Where I come from, and why.

There is more going on here on planet Earth than anyone realises. The Journey Home is about not only remembering ‘what‘ we really are, remembering why we are here.

Diane was an explorer of consciousness, an investigator of energy and a warrior for truth. She never stopped, and nor will I.

If the message of The Journey Home touches something inside of you from this website and Diane’s books and meditations, through her voice or perhaps even through mine .. then something is awakening inside you. Perhaps you can discover you need to go through the centre point of your own inner mind to find where home is.

I was shown we can journey to the places we are looking for when we go inwardly. We can travel with our mind, we can move within our memories. We can journey through light-stream travel of consciousness to places our physical self could never reach. Why are we looking outwardly, when all our answers are inside us.

Home is a state of awareness, accessible through our own inner being. The answers are within the memory of ‘what’ we really are. After we let go of all imagery all that’s left is what is real.

For those who choose to take responsibility for the reason why they need to remember, then I say welcome to The Journey Home.

It is what we experience that is real. It is what we experience that determines the nature of how we see reality – what’s possible, or what’s not. That is what determines how we ‘see’ reality. How we see what is possible. How we interpret the events around us, and within us.

When we look at ‘reality’, how foolish is it for anyone to view the world we live in based on the preconceived ideas of what others think! Surely an experience is far more credible than what conventional belief systems tell us. Because, whilst subjective, aren’t experiences still actual? They are not merely stories you find it a book – they happen. And aren’t belief systems often just temporary opinions entrenched by popular culture or popular science? I call most of it dogma or ‘convenient science’. What can be considered fact one day can be recognised as incorrect the next. What is often considered ‘heresy’ can later be hailed as ‘revolutionary’. How easily one can be ridiculed trying to open peoples minds, only to be remembered as extraordinary when they were no longer with us. I would rather we look at what is Real in the Now. Why wait! Surely it’s our experiences that tell us how things work and what is possible. It is our experiences that show us what we are capable of, how to define ourselves and the world we live in.

Talk to anyone who has had an experience, and they can tell you in great detail what it was, what happened and what it means to them. It shapes how they view themselves and the world. But talk to someone who has not had an experience but instead bases their understanding on a belief system and all they can give you is an image. Perhaps it is something they’ve simply grown up with, read or been ‘educated’ about. However, it is only a version of a version. A belief. An adopted opinion. Perhaps its time we stop thinking so much, and start becoming aware.

If we define our reality by our experiences and how we relate to them, we open up so many channels of discovery. New ways of understanding. New levels of awareness, both about ourselves and about the nature of our lives. So surely .. experience determines ‘reality’.

There are literally millions of experiences documented and shared over the decades past that go unexplained. Why? Just because conventional ‘knowledge’ or ‘science’ can’t answer them? That’s ridiculous. And this being so, doesn’t it say more about the lack of credibility of the ‘knowledge base of science’? Why should ‘convention’ bring into question the validity of unexplained experiences when so many people have them? Especially when they show us that reality, time and memory is not what we are taught to believe it is.

Perhaps if we took all the people over all the years who have had experiences that cannot be explained by mainstream knowledge .. and put them all together. We might find there are so many they might be the majority after all! Experience should have the casting vote over the so-called ‘definition of reality’ we are told is factual. Because what is conventional fact when it comes to the unexplained? It is irrelevant – that’s what it is. Conventional facts are simply the rules of resistance to stop further investigation. Fences to stop you wandering into the truth.

Let’s take a simple example. If I have an experience where, say, I lose time. I can’t explain it, and it cannot be rationalised away despite many valiant efforts to do so. My experience showed me time is not constant or fixed. It showed me time is fluid. It showed me time is subjective, and my consciousness played a major part in it. Perhaps there were other energy influences, forces or anomalies involved I could not see or measure? It tells me many things that I both do and don’t know. And both are important. And so it is the experience that tells me there is an understanding of reality that allows me to see what time is .. or more importantly what time isn’t. Now I have an appreciation and an openness that my experience showed me more about the nature and illusion of my reality than I ever realised.

If I simply read a notion of time in a physics book that tells me time is a linear measurement interwoven with forces such as ‘gravity’ and the photonic energy of light .. what then? This version of reality, created by somebody’s meticulous “rubber ruler” calculations and concepts doesn’t even come close to explaining my simple experience. So how can I apply it to what I just experienced? I cannot. Because conventional thinking is really good at telling us what is not possible and what cannot happen, and what I experienced cannot and does not happen .. but it just did. So who is mistaken? Certainly not the person who had the experience.

No matter how credible it appears in a book, when it comes to the true nature of reality what if what is written does not explain a simple experience of someone else’s reality? Then it is incomplete. And if it is incomplete, should it be the guide as to what determines reality? No.

So what determines reality? We do. The person who had the experience about time going fast or slow, backwards or forwards. The person who knows what they saw when no-one else believes them. The person who knows what they feel, even though they cannot explain it. The person who has memories they cannot explain that don’t fit into who they believe they are. The person who keeps an open mind .. that truth is an ever changing movement of awareness.

If you have had an experience, YOU are the person who has a greater hold on what is real than any person who never had the experience at all.

Remember that. Do not doubt yourself, ever.

We have to let go of the misconception that time is linear. Time is an illusion, and all events are simultaneous. We need to open your mind to viewing reality as something that exists beyond the regular ‘knowledge’ base and conditional limitations of humanity. Whether we are looking into the depths of our minds, or at holographic principles or even the timeless concepts of quantum realities .. we find the same thing – time does not exist the way we think it does.

We have all seen when scientists and intellectuals filled with ‘knowledge’ going around and applying what I call “the rubber ruler effect” to everything so they can measure it try and make reality confirm to observations. But time is not linear, and time and space are interconnected. All time happens at once. The passage of time is the movement of consciousness from one point of memory to another. Only the now exists – and how do you measure that? You don’t.

Time is also variable, meaning it can distort, quicken up or slow down, depending on the state of energy of the space, and our perception of it. That is why I call it a “rubber ruler”, because when reality is distorted, so is the ruler because it is a product of that reality. If one is looking at the ruler for guidance, then the measurement is as flawed as the instrument. The only true observation is the mind. Not equations. Not instruments. Certainly not the brain.

Reverse causality is really an observation of how we perceive the events and circumstances of our lives. We may say things are unfair; see events unfold in our life and wonder at the reasons and meanings. We applaud the good events, and we despair at the cruel ones. We start to feel as if own personal plans for our lives are really only a ‘backup’ to what life itself decides to do .. and we start to understand there is a Greater Plan and a greater force existing and unfolding around us.

This Greater Plan works in a dimensional and timeless capacity. Life is a limited dimensional perception of the complexity of what we call ‘reality’. If we are not aware of the true nature of time and space, we can only but wonder at these events and interactions. We can of course blame cause-and-effect, and forever ask the question ‘why?’ without ever really getting an answer.

So what is reverse causality? Before I answer, it is imperative to understand that words are meaningless. Ironic, isn’t it, that this is the written or spoken word also. However, be that as it may – it is the meaning within the words that matters.

If I explain what reverse causality is, will that make you smart? Does that give you something to talk about that makes you clever with more knowledge? If so, then the answer will be lost on you. For to understand the workings of space and time is to delve into the innermost part of one’s being. To open your mind to things which may seem contradictory at first, and challenge one’s own identity of self.

Indeed, the journey within is the most important journey of all because it connects you to that “what” you are, beyond the limitation and illusion of your self. Similarly, to understand reverse causality is to feel whether it makes sense to you or not. Your inner will know. Your inner will tell you. Something inside you will trigger and say, “Yes, that makes sense. I must pursue how I feel to understand more.” As I say, it is the journey inward that will lead you home to an understanding of ‘what’ you are, and why you are here .. and where you need to go. Understanding anything, is a movement of awareness for all of us on the journey home.

Let us look firstly at ‘causality’. Causality is exactly that – something that happens which then causes an effect. What you perceive is happening in your life right now, is perceived to be the effect of a cause of some other event. Perhaps from a single event, or from a multitude. Sometimes you can identify the cause, other times the causes elude you.

But what if everything was in reverse to what you understand?

What if our perception of reality was really an experience of ‘reverse causality’? What if the cause of the ‘effect’ in your now is actually the ‘effect’ originating from a ‘cause’ located in the future? And if all time is simultaneous, then how can there even be a past or future at all?

That is where I take you back to the main point – our perception of time is a movement of consciousness through memory. That being so, then the past and the future are only perceptions of our reality. What does that mean? It means that when an event occurs at any point in time, it is like a small stone being thrown into a still pond. The stone creates a ripple that permeates the ‘medium’, the surface of the pond, and expands in all directions, both across the surface, and beneath it.

Our perception of life is like the surface of the pond. Let’s imagine, to the observer of the pond, that to the left side of the pond is the ’past’ and to the right side of the pond is the ‘future’. At some point in between, the stone is thrown and penetrates the water level. Whether we are standing in the past or the future, we will feel the effect. We will feel the ripple.

And so, a ‘cause’ that starts in the ‘future’ creates an ‘effect’ in the ‘past’ of the pond. Imagine for a moment we are back now in our lives, on the surface of the pond, walking through our daily routine… and, of course, an event that takes place that effects us. Did it originate from the future or the past? Which one is it? As all energy is magnetic, and karma in this reality we live in does not seem to function the way it is supposed to, then what affects you is determined by the magnetic value of a causal event somewhere in space and time.

It is reverse causality when the stone is thrown into the pond of our ‘future’, and we feel the ‘effect’ in the relative ‘past’ of where the stone struck the water. This is like time itself. Events are connected not through linear time, but through thought and memory, and the energy that permeates our reality and our minds every waking day and sleeping night of our lives.

Have you ever had an experience where something happens to you, and then sometime later an event occurs that relates directly to what already happened? Have you ever had deja-vu? What if deja-vu is the memory of the ‘future’ meeting you in the ‘now’ to remind you’ve experienced this moment before .. in the future. Is it the cycle of time repeating itself, where the future returns to become the past again? And so, this is all about changing our relativity. Opening our minds. I am telling you, reality doesn’t work at all the way you might think it does.

Whether something within time and space affects us personally, or affects the entirety of humanity, it depends on the nature and intent of whomever threw the stone in the first place, after all. And who would that be, I wonder? That is a story for another day.We have to let go of the misconception that time is linear. Time is an illusion, and all events are simultaneous. We need to open your mind to viewing reality as something that exists beyond the regular ‘knowledge base’ humanity is well known for. Whether we’re looking into the depths of our minds, at holographic principles or even the timeless evidence of simultaneous quantum realities .. we find the same thing – time does not exist the way we think it does.

What is ‘rational thought and wisdom’? many researchers spent copious amount of time applying what I call “the rubber ruler effect” to everything. They measure everything in an effort to try and force their theories of reality to agree with their limited field of observation. But if time is not linear, and all time happens at once, then that means time and space are also inter-connected, and the passage of time is the movement of consciousness from one point of memory to another. Only the now exists – and how do you measure that? You don’t. You have to experience it.

Time is also variable, meaning it can distort, quicken up, or slow down, depending on the state of energy of the space, and our perception of it. That is why I call measuring devices “rubber rulers”, because when reality is distorted .. so is the ruler. Because after all, the ruler is a product of reality, is it not? If one is looking at the ruler for guidance, then the measurement is as flawed as the instrument. The only true observation is the mind. Not equations. Not instruments. Certainly not the brain.

Causality, it seems, is an observation of how we perceive the events and circumstances of our lives. We see events unfold in our life and wonder at the reasons and meanings. We applaud the good events, and we despair at the unkind ones. We start to feel as if own personal plans are really no more than a ‘backup’ in case life itself decides to step in first .. and it is then we start to understand there is more going on here than most realise. There is a Greater Plan, and there also are forces greater than humanity existing and unfolding around us.

The Greater Plan works in a dimensional and timeless capacity. Life is but a limited dimensional perception of the complexity of what we call ‘reality’. If we are not aware of the true nature of time and space, we can only but wonder at these events and interactions. We can of course blame cause-and-effect, and forever ask the question ‘why?’ without ever really getting an answer.

So why do I say everything is in reverse? Before I answer, it is imperative to understand that my words are meaningless. Ironic, isn’t it, that this is the written or spoken word also. However, my point is this: it is the meaning within the words that matters. The message. To understand the nature of space and time is to delve into the innermost part of one’s being. To open your mind to that which may seem contradictory at first, and challenge one’s own identity of self.

Indeed, the journey within is the most important journey of all because it connects ‘who’ you to that ‘what’ you are, beyond the limitation and illusion of your self. Whether this discussion makes sense to you or not is a matter of how much ‘you’ can step aside and feel whether it makes sense or not. Whether the ‘cause’ is in our past or future will depend on where we are in the pond. We will feel the effect, we will feel the ripple, no matter ‘when’ in ‘time’ we are.

And so, a ‘cause’ that starts in the ‘future’ creates an ‘effect’ in the ‘past’ of the pond. Imagine for a moment we are back now on the surface of the pond, back in our lives walking through our daily routine… and, of course, an event occurs that effects us. Whether an event within time and space affects us personally, or affects the entirety of humanity, it will depend on the nature and intent of whomever threw the stone in the first place, after all. And who would that be, I wonder? … That is a story for another day.

Does this sound familiar?  ..  No matter how hard you try, you just keep listening to all those negative thoughts in your head that just won’t go away.  They don’t always give you the best advice when you need it, but instead they often get in the way of solving an issue with their repetitive and often non-constructive reasoning.  When this happens, you are in a loop of your own thoughts that are referred to as ‘self-programming’.

This is your ‘self-talk’.  It’s the script you have created to protect yourself from issues such as: not feeling good enough, fear of rejection, negative body image, lack of confidence, and so on.  There are a great number of factors that involve negative self-programming, and they may have been with you for a long, long time.

Changing self-programming means you have to change how you talk to yourself.  It’s that simple.  However, many people have become accustomed to the way they think, the way they behave and the negative outcomes in their lives that have come from it.  They are the victims of this world, where nothing works, and nothing is fair.

Simply, you have to change.  Stop waiting for the world to change around you.  It’s not going to happen.  I bet you have invented so many excuses, justified everything you have done, as well as blamed so many people and situations, and guess what?  Your life still sucks.  It doesn’t work. It can also make you feel isolated, where no-one understands you and no-one is there for you.  Well, that’s what negative self-programming does for you.

So how easy is it to defeat self-programming?  As I have already said, self-programming is simply ‘self-talk’.  It’s what you say to yourself every single day, sometimes over and over again.  You say it so often that you have talked yourself into believing it.  It’s become a way of life.  It’s become your identity.  But if it’s not working for you, then it’s got to change.  That’s when the Mindhubb ‘Talk2Self’ technique can help you make that change.  So, I will now explain how it all works:

There are two aspects of the mind.  The conscious and the subconscious.  The subconscious mind acts according to the beliefs of the conscious mind, and does not distinguish whether those beliefs are good or bad, beneficial or destructive.  It is this subconscious belief system, which is often referred to as “a silent partner to consciousness” that plays back these beliefs as ‘self-talk’.

Your ‘self-talk’, or self-programming, can only change when a new belief, or a different attitude replaces it.  The Talk2Self technique is all about creating a new ‘script’, using your own trusted voice, which you have recorded, and then played back through your phone or other recording device, using head-sets for maximum concentration and privacy.  By listening to your own voice, with its change of script, and ‘believing’ with everything you have in what you are saying, then this new script, with its new beliefs, will filter down into your subconscious and replace the outgrown negative self-talk with the new version.

So let’s talk about your new script.  It needs to have content that changes your belief or attitude towards yourself, others, or perhaps an issue that has created your self-programming.  However, there are too many variables to be mentioned here.

Your script should be around 2 – 3 minutes long.  That’s about 350 – 500 words.  That’s enough time and content to create a new way of talking to yourself that cancels out the old self-dialogue.  Then you need to record your script on either your phone or another recording device you might have.  Remember to speak slowly and concisely, and don’t forget to emphasize what is important to you.  Then replay it back.  Make sure you’re happy with what you have said, and also how you have said it.  This should be listened to regularly over a period of time, until you notice the changes in your thinking. When you change your self-programming, then you change your life.  It’s that easy.

If you would like to take a step further in understanding yourself and your ‘most likely’ future that you are creating, then take a look at my Program titled ‘Creating the Future you want‘, which is available under the Mind Travel section of The Journey Home website. What is reality - The Journey Home

Throughout the ages this question has been asked by many great philosophers, scientists, mystics, deep thinkers, plus the ordinary folk, who are looking for the answer to ‘what is reality?’

For some people there is no question to ask.  It is quite simple.  What you can see and touch is reality.  What is all the fuss about?  Why even ask the question, when the answer is so obvious.  Some people can become quite irritated with the question, because they hold onto the comfort of knowing their reality is their security, and you just don’t mess with that!  Reality then becomes a fixed point of observation, filtered through their concept, which is based on their beliefs.

However, we live in a world that often has anomalies, whereby the safety and security of our reality can be challenged.  This can test our beliefs, as well as our security in knowing our place in the world we live in.

When we live through our identity of who we are, surrounded by what is known to us, there is often little room for something else to enter into our life that cannot be explained or understood.  This is where our good old imagination comes in.  It often takes the blame for things we cannot identify or explain, and coupled with time, whatever has happened can often get pushed into the back of your mind.

But what if you are someone who has had one or more experiences you just can’t explain.  Someone who just doesn’t want to forget what they have seen or experienced, but instead wants answers.  Answers to the question ‘what is reality?’  Perhaps you have no-one to talk to, because you’re afraid of people thinking you’re crazy.  You feel alone, isolated and confused.

If this is you, then you’re not alone.  There are so many people who are afraid to come forward to share their own experiences, but they’re there.  Perhaps you’ve seen something, heard something, experienced time slips or time loops.  There are so many different types of anomalies to show that reality is not fixed.

So who am I to share these types of comments with you?  Well I am someone who has had so many experiences throughout the past 36 years of investigation into ‘what is reality?’.. I believe I am well qualified to say it as it is.

This article can only touch the surface of ‘what is reality?’  However, what I do know after all these years, is that your reality will equal what you want to believe, rather than what it may or may not be.  People often have a ‘ceiling’ to what they will accept.  Even the most open-minded can have a limit to what they will allow themselves to believe.

Throughout my own experiences, especially in the earlier days, I created many ‘ceilings’ where I said “enough is enough”.  Yet I just couldn’t leave it there.  So I just kept on going.  As each ceiling was dismantled, I built a higher ceiling, and so on.

Every experience I had that defied logic or physics was always disputed by many people, whom I shared my experiences with, as being false or illusionary.  But I am here to tell you that’s just so wrong.  You cannot measure what cannot be measured.  I came to understand that reality is always shifting.  When you think you completely understand it, then it has a way of changing.

We are always dependent upon what is fixed, what is reliable, what is known.  That becomes our reference point, and we call it ‘our life’.  We hold onto that with everything we have, and we feel secure and safe.  Our beliefs become important to us, especially when these beliefs are shared by so many others.  We live as if they must be right.  So many people can’t be wrong .. can they?

So the thought of reality not being what it appears to be never enters most people’s thoughts.  However, when something happens that does not fit into what is referred to as  ‘normal’, then that leads to a decision to either leave well alone, or to take a good look into what it means.  This will then lead you to the question .. ‘what is reality?’

You might also like to understand how your life is creating your ‘most likely future’.   If you are interested in taking a step forward to create the future you want, take a look at my Program titled ‘Creating the Future you want‘, which is available under the Mind Travel section of The Journey Home website.  This program will take you on a personal journey, mind travelling forward in time to view and experience your ‘most likely future’.
