Understanding Intuitive & Psychic Abilities

Our ancestors relied upon our 6th sense to avoid danger, and to help them survive. It is often referred to as a ‘gut feeling’ or ‘a knowing’. Mothers with young children will often use it to keep their children protected. However, in this technological age our 6th sense is in danger of being absorbed into ‘information overload’, with this natural part of humanity becoming discarded and unused.

However, when people need to explore the meaning to life, their spirituality, their purpose and what lies beyond the boundary of their physicality, then their psychic abilities have to be woken up and activated. Physic abilities usually fall into the categories of: Clairsentience (feelings) Clairvoyance (seeing) Clairaudience (hearing)

Clairvoyance

This is the ability to see what other cannot. You may see people, animals or even people’s energy fields, known as auras. This may be extremely clear to you at times, and not at other times. You may see through your outer vision (eyes) or through your inner vision.

Many clairvoyants can see through their outer as well as through their inner vision. Some children see imaginary friends and often talk to them, as well as play with them. After about the age of 8 – 9 their ability often disappears, but not always.

Some clairvoyants are known to have seen things since their childhood. But for those whose clairvoyance is more ‘inner’, this ability comes from the source relaying the impressions and images to the clairvoyant and the clairvoyant interpreting what they are receiving.

Clairvoyance also comes through visions and dreams, where visual images are projected towards the clairvoyant, these often being extremely clear and detailed.

Clairaudience

This is the ability to hear. A person who is a highly skilled clairaudient will often tell you they can actually hear voices from outside their physicality, and other times they hear them in their mind. They are usually clear and precise, with a message that is often very relevant to current circumstances either for the clairaudient themselves, or for another person for them to relay the message to.

This ability also ties in with mediumship and inspirational writing, as well as teachings.

Examples of psychic abilities are:

  • Intuition

  • Psychometry

  • Predicting the future – precognition / premonition

  • Aware of energy changes / the unseen

  • Mediumship

  • Working with energy (this covers many examples and expertise)

  • Visions

  • Creative abilities such as art & writing

Clairsentience

This involves what you feel. You sense something, and your feelings tell you in story. For example: You meet someone for the first time. Within seconds you feel so empty, so lonely, so afraid. The person standing in front of you doesn’t display any of these feelings, yet you can’t shake what you have just felt.

You know it would be rude if you asked them to confirm what you have just felt, so you keep it to yourself. Some time later you overhear her speaking to someone else. She is expressing exactly what you felt about her earlier. This is called ‘clairsentience’.

We are all divisions of the One. So much thought is separate. When the thought is separate it creates more separation. So what is the difference between divisional energy and the separation of thought?

Thought, firstly, it is an image. It is an image designed to equal an expectation or a version of truth that one aspires to and one needs. But what is divisional energy? And why is what we really are a division of energy?

All light is One. There is no separation in light. Pure light. Light becomes divisional through segments of creation and through barriers of reality, and through layers of thoughts and memories. But light in its essence never divides, and yet we say that it is divisional only because it shares itself amongst various aspects of perception.

When one stands at the top of a staircase one has a vantage point. A vision. An ability to see further. A greater sense of perspective. If one is to step down to the middle point of that staircase and keep communicating with oneself on top of the staircase, when one is at the middle of the staircase one has a lesser view, but is still the same ‘You’.

If we descend down to the bottom of the staircase we have what we could call the consciousness, a more limited vision of reality but still in communication and fully connected to the part of our self that is both midway up the staircase and at the very top. We are divisional, not separate.

We are experiencing multiple aspects of sound. Multiple realities. We are sharing our energy through multiple streams of evolution and multiple factors of awareness. But that does not make a separate. It makes us One through a divisional array of thought and memory. The essence of light remains intact, but it is divisional as it is shared down the staircase.

The unity of the Light of All is when the lowest point, the consciousness, the human mind and the essence that lives within each one is in full contact with the highest level of awareness and remembering of what one really is. That is when for light awareness of what you really are flows down into the consciousness of one’s life. One does not need to create an energy of image or expectation. One does not need to convince anyone of anything. One does not need to pursue goals to eventually become at the top of the staircase, Because one is already there. It is simply the consciousness that perceives reality, and what is real, differently.

So what is it to maintain the One within oneself? It is to know. Not to think or believe, but to know and remember one is still standing on top of the staircase. One has descended down into the middle and lower streams of reality – the middle and lower tiers to perception, the steps steps on The staircase. One inhabits multiple realms at once. One light shining through different spectrums of sound.

The essence is always One.

So we are all divisions of the One of what we really are, and what is real never becomes less real when moving through illusion. It maintains its centre point at all times, and when we move through our lives we must maintain our centre point at all times. The way we maintain that centre point is to be aware that we have never left, and we are experiencing and evaluation of separation in order for something greater to occur. That does not make us greater or lesser. It makes us a division of the One.

So much fracturing and fragmentation of thought and imagery is applied to the energy of what one really is. Grandiose images, false prophets, analogies of greatness all come from a fractured perspective of thought, but not from the energy of what one is. When one is resounding to what one is, one does not need to create imagery, idols and essences separate from themselves to justify their life purpose as dictated by the self.

No one is more important than another. No one is greater than another. No one is lesser than another. If your imagery has a purpose that seeks others to follow then your imagery is flawed by your inability to recognise the value of all being One.

So the movement of sound through our lives is one that follows the pathway light. When we look for purpose we must understand that for purpose to be true, Purpose can only come from the essence of what one is. If one is in communication quietly, deeply within the energy of what they are and remembers that they are both standing on top of the stairs, and midway, and inhabiting the lowest note of the human self then one knows the answers two questions are already known inside.

And so the journey becomes not a journey at all, it becomes an experience of awareness, and that experience of awareness is the journey home for so many. For the One has arrived within the power point of creation, within reality, within this illusion.

But the registration of sound that it is is now accessible through the Gateway of your mind. So you are a division of the One of what you are. And within the silence – within that single point recognition – comes a new future, a new pathway, a new dimension of awareness that allows you to remember you are more than who you believe you are. You are more than who you know you have ever been whilst you only register life through the consciousness.

The parity of it all is that ‘what you are’ is always available, because it is in fact all you are and all you have ever been, and all that you were before you even came here.

I leave you with what I have most of and that is truly love. Bless you.

The point of recognition in its simplest form is when one stops living with illusion as one’s reality. The point of recognition is when you are aware of the illusion of life, and you do not try and make it ‘Real’. You respond to everything equal to the awareness that this – all of this, our reality – is only a program. An artificial reality that is not our home.

The point of recognition is when you are living within illusion, but you are not of it. That recognition carries you forward to the next point of recognition, and that is the question that so many ask: “I know this is not real, so what am I here to do?”

The question of what you are here to do has several things attached to it. We look for a purpose in our life because we are looking for more meaning; we are looking for a greater depth to the life we live – of course we are! We all require meaning to exist meaningfully. We all want to achieve something that matters most to us. To have no meaning is to have no hope, and I am here to tell you not only is there hope, there is a way home. There is a way to find meaning.

Wanting a sense of purpose comes from one of two places. It either comes from the need to capitalise on the self and make one’s illusionary reality even more illusionary, filling it with accolades, things and possessions, or the illusion of service to fulfil oneself. To fill in the empty space inside where loving awareness should be. So many people pursue this. That is not to say their personal perception of love is not the driving force in their pursuit, because to give love and share one’s energy of goodwill is beautiful thing. Often, however, when one believes the only way to find love it Is to give everything of yourself away in search of what sometimes seems so elusive … then sometimes, those with the biggest hearts often find themselves giving most of it away to others because they care so deeply about others, often to the detriment of themselves.

Whilst that is a commendable expression of outward love, it is not balanced with inward love. This selflessness does little to heal one’s own inner feeling of the void of love. The outer expression is often designed to compensate for that inner absence of love. The point of recognition risks becoming a need for a destiny or a purpose simply to fulfil one’s desire to be loved.

As much as that has merit for some, it is not a true endeavour of true purpose .. because it does not come from a centred point of awareness. It comes from a feeling of no-love. No-love is the absence of love in one’s awareness of yourself, and that only reinforces more illusion..

The second point of recognition for when one seeks to find their purpose, is something that initially can be seen as a paradox, until perhaps we explore what it actually means.

What is purpose? Purpose is a meaning for one’s existence. Purpose is a meaning for existence everywhere. For one to want to find a purpose means they want to be a part of ’the’ purpose of what this all means. The purpose of all existence everywhere. The yearning one feels towards this is because of the love they feel inside; the depth of meaning they know exists beyond the perception of life. They want to find their purpose in order to fulfil the inner awareness they feel happening as part of something far greater than themselves.

And so as we explore this a step further, let us ask why it is paradoxical. From the greater it is not, but from the lesser it is.

Once again, we asked the question as to why we want to find a purpose. We have just explored we want a purpose to be aware of the greater purpose of all things and to feel personally a part of it.

So who or what initiated ‘the’ purpose? If we are here within life and feel a need to be a part of a purpose, has something beyond us initiated that purpose? If so, then the purpose is not our own, but it is the purpose of a greater part of ourselves, from that ‘what’ we are beyond this illusion entirely. And so the point of recognition – the real and true point of recognition – comes when one is aware purpose is not their purpose alone. For it belongs to a greater awareness of energy. A greater mission, a greater plan. One does not have a purpose of their own; they have an intent to fulfil a part in a larger purpose. And whilst that translates into a personal purpose, the driving force of awareness behind the sense of a greater purpose is that one is aware they belong to something greater.

Therefore the point of recognition is the centre point of all things within one’s life within illusion. Therefore, the purpose of what is greater enters life, for life to then have purpose.

However, when the point of recognition is from the perspective of self alone a purpose of a greater nature will never be fulfilled. It will only ever be a directive of self. And whilst it may appease the sensibilities and the ego of one’s self and perhaps that of many others, perhaps even incorporating many good deeds, it will never align to the greater purpose.

Therefore the point of recognition driven by the self is always in the absence of the greater, based largely on the need to fulfil one’s own life.

And so we come to a decision. Just as we make decisions every day of our life. What is the point of recognition? What is our point of recognition – each one of us?

Is it a need to resolve our own personal issues through an exploration and exploitation of what we believe is most important to us? Of what gives us back that which we believe we need the most?

Or is our point of recognition a greater awareness where we are a part of something else? Where we belong to a greater plan, and allow that greater plan to translate into a life by listening inwardly, and to become the purpose given to us for our life… which brings us back to the centre point of this discussion, and that is: what is the point of recognition?

It is either the individual, separate life of oneself, or it is the light of all we are from beyond here.

One lives in illusion. One exists within illusion from beyond it.

Our Perception of our self versus the awareness of what we are, will determine whether we achieve the point of recognition.

Because, after all of the things we have just explored, there really is only one point recognition after all.

One is illusion. Only one is real.

Those of us who want to understand the purpose of life often wonder or ask about these important parts of our lives. Those of us who have lost loved ones often hope there are answers, or ways to communicate.
Others are simply curious about the paranormal, but there are yet others who have had life-long experiences they either do not understand, or perhaps are not sure of. There are answers, and it all starts with awareness – of ourselves, our lives and the time and space dimensions in which we live.

Our perception and experience of our life in time is only as fixed as we believe it is. Time is not fixed, and nor are you. Time can be rewritten depending on the power of the Inner sound you become aware of.

I would like to ask you a question – do any of your memories or experiences in your life that keep re-occurring feel like they do not belong to you? Do you have recurring patterns of experiences? People? Jobs? Relationships? Do you sit down sometimes and question … why does this keep happening? What is going on?

We are all familiar with the concept of karma. Of course we are. Karma is a very well understood topic by people who dig a little bit deeper into what life is about. It is a part of the human experience. We have all lived before, and we will all live again. That is the nature of time. We all have an energy of a soul and spirit from before and during this life, and we will continue on after we depart this life. We have lived past lives that explore different lifestyles, ideas, concepts, different emotional stages and levels of awareness of what life is.

And so karma is in essence the opposites of the human equation. How we deal with fear, power, grief. How we deal with so many things such as happiness, giving, love and rejection – so many things the human condition and experience encompasses. We move from one experience to another, learning, observing and exploring the journey called life.

There is a magnetic return energy with karma – of course there is. Everything goes round and returns in smaller and then ever widening circles of experience. It is called the magnetic law. The rotation of compliance. The Journey Home book speaks about this and other associated topics in great depth.

For this blog, let us just focus on karma. What if not all of the memories you hold – and therefore not all the feelings and experiences you believe you have had – belong to you? What if some of the memories you hold were never supposed to be yours? Could this explain why things that re-occur in your life make you scratch your head and ask, “Why is this happening to me again?” and “What possible value is there in this again for me to learn from this?”

Often, in my experience and in the experience of many people I help, there does not seem to be a point to some of the memories uncovered.

Let’s cross over to a different topic for a moment. Let’s talk about time. Now, you know how much I love to talk about time so let’s just spend a moment on it. You have heard me mention before that time does not actually exist, and yet we all live our life like it does. That makes it an even more fascinating subject! So let us take the reality of what ‘time’ actually is – the passage from one memory and moment to the next. You have heard me say before that all time is also simultaneous – the past and the future, our past lives and future lives, are all happening right now, as you read this, on different frequencies of this experience and in different locations in this space. Time does not exist, but all memory does.

The movement of our consciousness ‘through time’ gives the perception that time is passing. But at the end of it all, time itself does not exist. It is a loop of memory. But was it really meant to be this way?

The thing about time is that the past creates the future, and the future creates the past. But if you take a look around you in your life, I would ask you one question – does the world seem right? Does it seem in balance? Does it seem everything is where it should be? I would expect everyone would have to say “No”. For anyone who said yes, I would say you are not looking hard enough.

The world is not in balance. It is in fact grossly out of balance .. in the wrong direction. So many things in this experience called life are geared towards power, manipulation and unfairness. When we look at that, we have to then take a look at time. If time is a series of memories that all exist at the same time, and the past affects the future .. and the future affects the past .. then they are mutually inter-dependent. Which simply means they need each other.

As conscious human beings, we do not readily and consciously have a memory of the future available to us. So what happens when the future (one that is the result of an out-of-balance reality) actively connects to the past? Because the past actively connects to the future. But what does this have to do with memory, and what it does it have to do with karma?

Let us look at it this way – the program of life, the energy of life, the cycle of life, the sameness of life .. is determined to stay the same. The powerful are in power; the powerless are without power. That is the rule here. So therefore, the future has the advantage point of visibility across the history of time including our now. What if it actively imprinted memories deep inside our psyche? What if it imprinted memories and experiences, even lifetimes, into our past and reflected those memories back to us again – like a mirror – into our now so we believe things that never actually happened, did happen.

What if our responses based upon uncertainty, unsureness, remorse and fear are dis-empowering us so we cannot see the true beauty and true depth, strength and clarity of who and what we are? What if some of the things we hold onto every day, in every part of our life … were simply not true? We would need to re-evaluate. We sure would.

And so, we look at karma as a very real aspect of an energy of experience recurring from one life to the next, from one experience to the next throughout the history of mankind, in order to gain awareness for the sole as part of a sole group as we all travel along a spiritual journey that is called humanity. But then we need to also have to look at a system of life we live in now, that is cyclic and does not want people to change.

Do you want a better future? I’ll bet you do. Do you want the best future you can have? Absolutely you do.

That being the case, I would ask you to take a look. Be open. Take a look at your life, at the psychic pattern of things that happen in your life. Take a look at the things you experience, the members you have, the feelings you have got, and ask yourself … do they make sense?

If the answer is ‘maybe not’, then perhaps reality itself is trying to keep you in an old program. Perhaps the future is trying to maintain a powerbase that is out of balance.

That being so, it makes it so important to look deeply within ourselves. To look deep within the real memories we carry of what we really are. Only our inner self, our real memories, our real self can determine what is real to us.

I have had so many people uncover memories and feelings, entire lifetimes through intuitive readings I have done, psychic readings and timeline readings … where their memories do not match the reality of what is happening, and what is happening cannot be traced back to karmic memory.

There is something fundamentally wrong with the memory structure of life. And so I ask the simple question – does everything you experience in life make sense? Do the cyclic and repetitive patterns that perhaps because you grief, strain and confusion keep you in the same space unecessarily? Spinning around, trying to figure it out? Maybe, just maybe, there is nothing to figure out at all.

Maybe a new future is available when we take a moment to understand we are more than the memory we are created to be.

We have inside of us something very special that will lead us to a new future, that will bypass obsolete and false memory .. and we have something inside of us that will show us the way.

The Journey Home is built upon the energy of awareness and remembering. Knowing what we are, deep inside, so the depth of awareness can come to the surface and change who we are so much for the better. It can show as the Gateway to our mind to leave the sameness and the old life behind. Our inner being can make every aspect of who and what we are, real. It can help us bypass the time loop to have a new future, to travel somewhere else where there is an exit from the sameness of our life.

I hope the question of karma, memory and cyclic patterns perhaps raises a new question inside of you.

The Journey Home is about remembering that we are more than who we think we are. It is about challenging our beliefs, because sometimes when we believe in something outwardly so strongly it is because we know something deep inside that we just haven’t been able to touch.

In the discovery of what you are, you have to look at your core beliefs. Many of us form rigid beliefs, some built on hope, others built on perception, culture and tradition, social expectation and even self image. But beliefs of any kind will always cloud our judgement. If we are not careful, we can drown the inner voice that is crying out or inner memories screaming to be heard.

Maybe you have dreams you don’t understand, or feelings that come from inside you about the world and your place in it. Perhaps you wonder about beyond life, beyond tomorrow. Beyond the planet, or even beyond understanding. If we hold on too tightly to beliefs we run the risk of never getting in touch with our true self.

The way we feel, the way we think and the way we perceive life is equal to the way we perceive ourselves. If we want to move forward in our journey of life, and start to understand what our life is for – what it is about – then we have to look at our perception of ourselves. That means journeying beyond our beliefs.

If we grip too tightly to how we perceive the world and ourselves, we will never ever allow ourselves to understand what else we hold. Because if you are looking to understand the purpose of your life, gain inner peace or an inward understanding – even reading this right now in search of one or all of those things – maybe you have something within you that is very important, very special, that needs to be understood.

So the Journey Home is a discovery of the light within; the light of awareness. The light of what is real and true. What does that mean? It means the inner ‘you’.  The original ‘you’.  The real ‘you’ .. and more. We cannot feel a need to know or a sense that something is missing, or an ache to remember without knowing it already, somewhere deep inside. Otherwise, it would not be remembered at all. It would be learning, and the Journey Home is not about learning anything. It is about awareness, and true memory. That is what remembering is.

And so the Journey Home is a very personal thing. It is very powerful. It will challenges you to the very core whilst lifting you to the highest places. It is worth the ride. To many, it is a relief to understand their thoughts and feelings .. and to understand you are not alone.

So within the words and the meditations contained within the books and audio available on The Journey Home website, is the message that within the inner parts of you there is a flame that flickers. The Journey Home is about allowing that flame to burn brighter and grow in awareness so you, too, can fully remember.

I welcome you to the Journey Home. To those who remember, it is the only thing that truly exists. Life holds so many images and fallacies, it tells so many lies. It expects so many things. It often demands obedience and loyalty to comply with the sameness for no particular reason other than it is the way it is ‘has to be’ or is the way ‘it has always been done.’ There is no growth in that!

And so, it is about finding what is true and real inside YOU so you can find what works for you. After all, it’s your life. And when you find what is true inside yourself, that state of awareness – even memories – are what will reveal you you have the strength to take back your life and your journey. You don’t have to take one more step in your life without it being a part of your return journey to be ‘who’ and ‘what’ you really are.

The joy of the journey home is the joy of freedom. It is the love of remembering that we are all one. It is something very real, and it will take you forward in your life with a profound sense of purpose. What you always felt but perhaps never understood becomes a catalyst for you to finally remember who and what you really are.

As part of the Journey Home website, we will be releasing an ongoing series of guided meditations and online programs, blogs, podcasts and inspired discussions – all dedicated to The Journey Home and dedicated to uncovering what is real within each and every one of us.

Please subscribe to The Journey Home website to receive notifications from us when new content is available. Thank you.

It is what we experience that is real. It is what we experience that determines the nature of how we see reality – what’s possible, or what’s not. That is what determines how we ‘see’ reality. How we see what is possible. How we interpret the events around us, and within us.

When we look at ‘reality’, how foolish is it for anyone to view the world we live in based on the preconceived ideas of what others think! Surely an experience is far more credible than what conventional belief systems tell us. Because, whilst subjective, aren’t experiences still actual? They are not merely stories you find it a book – they happen. And aren’t belief systems often just temporary opinions entrenched by popular culture or popular science? I call most of it dogma or ‘convenient science’. What can be considered fact one day can be recognised as incorrect the next. What is often considered ‘heresy’ can later be hailed as ‘revolutionary’. How easily one can be ridiculed trying to open peoples minds, only to be remembered as extraordinary when they were no longer with us. I would rather we look at what is Real in the Now. Why wait! Surely it’s our experiences that tell us how things work and what is possible. It is our experiences that show us what we are capable of, how to define ourselves and the world we live in.

Talk to anyone who has had an experience, and they can tell you in great detail what it was, what happened and what it means to them. It shapes how they view themselves and the world. But talk to someone who has not had an experience but instead bases their understanding on a belief system and all they can give you is an image. Perhaps it is something they’ve simply grown up with, read or been ‘educated’ about. However, it is only a version of a version. A belief. An adopted opinion. Regurgitated information based on acceptability or cultural, social or peer group pressure.

Perhaps its time we stop thinking so much, and start becoming aware.

If we define our reality by our experiences and how we relate to them, we open up so many channels of discovery. New ways of understanding. New levels of awareness, both about ourselves and about the nature of our lives. So surely .. experience determines ‘reality’.

There are literally millions of experiences documented and shared over the decades past that go unexplained. Why? Just because conventional ‘knowledge’ or ‘science’ can’t answer them? That’s ridiculous. And this being so, doesn’t it say more about the lack of credibility of the ‘knowledge base of science’? Why should ‘convention’ bring into question the validity of unexplained experiences when so many people have them? Especially when they show us that reality, time and memory is not what we are taught to believe it is.

Perhaps if we took all the people over all the years who have had experiences that cannot be explained by mainstream knowledge .. and put them all together. We might find there are so many they might be the majority after all! Experience should have the casting vote over the so-called ‘definition of reality’ we are told is factual. Because what is conventional fact when it comes to the unexplained? It is irrelevant – that’s what it is. Conventional facts are simply the rules of resistance to stop further investigation. Fences to stop you wandering into the truth.

Let’s take a simple example. If I have an experience where, say, I lose time. I can’t explain it, and it cannot be rationalised away despite many valiant efforts to do so. My experience showed me time is not constant or fixed. It showed me time is fluid. It showed me time is subjective, and my consciousness played a major part in it. Perhaps there were other energy influences, forces or anomalies involved I could not see or measure? It tells me many things that I both do and don’t know. And both are important. And so it is the experience that tells me there is an understanding of reality that allows me to see what time is .. or more importantly what time isn’t. Now I have an appreciation and an openness that my experience showed me more about the nature and illusion of my reality than I ever realised.

If I simply read a notion of time in a physics book that tells me time is a linear measurement interwoven with forces such as ‘gravity’ and the photonic energy of light .. what then? This version of reality, created by somebody’s meticulous “rubber ruler” calculations and concepts doesn’t even come close to explaining my simple experience. So how can I apply it to what I just experienced? I cannot. Because conventional thinking is really good at telling us what is not possible and what cannot happen, and what I experienced cannot and does not happen .. but it just did. So who is mistaken? Certainly not the person who had the experience.

No matter how credible it appears in a book, when it comes to the true nature of reality what if what is written does not explain a simple experience of someone else’s reality? Then it is incomplete. And if it is incomplete, should it be the guide as to what determines reality? No.

So what determines reality? We do. The person who had the experience about time going fast or slow, backwards or forwards. The person who knows what they saw when no-one else believes them. The person who knows what they feel, even though they cannot explain it. The person who has memories they cannot explain that don’t fit into who they believe they are. The person who keeps an open mind .. that truth is an ever changing movement of awareness.

If you have had an experience, YOU are the person who has a greater hold on what is real than any person who never had the experience at all.

Remember that. Do not doubt yourself, ever.

We have to let go of the misconception that time is linear. Time is an illusion, and all events are simultaneous. We need to open your mind to viewing reality as something that exists beyond the regular ‘knowledge’ base and conditional limitations of humanity. Whether we are looking into the depths of our minds, or at holographic principles or even the timeless concepts of quantum realities .. we find the same thing – time does not exist the way we think it does.

We have all seen when scientists and intellectuals filled with ‘knowledge’ going around and applying what I call “the rubber ruler effect” to everything so they can measure it try and make reality confirm to observations. But time is not linear, and time and space are interconnected. All time happens at once. The passage of time is the movement of consciousness from one point of memory to another. Only the now exists – and how do you measure that? You don’t.

Time is also variable, meaning it can distort, quicken up or slow down, depending on the state of energy of the space, and our perception of it. That is why I call it a “rubber ruler”, because when reality is distorted, so is the ruler because it is a product of that reality. If one is looking at the ruler for guidance, then the measurement is as flawed as the instrument. The only true observation is the mind. Not equations. Not instruments. Certainly not the brain.

Reverse causality is really an observation of how we perceive the events and circumstances of our lives. We may say things are unfair; see events unfold in our life and wonder at the reasons and meanings. We applaud the good events, and we despair at the cruel ones. We start to feel as if own personal plans for our lives are really only a ‘backup’ to what life itself decides to do .. and we start to understand there is a Greater Plan and a greater force existing and unfolding around us.

This Greater Plan works in a dimensional and timeless capacity. Life is a limited dimensional perception of the complexity of what we call ‘reality’. If we are not aware of the true nature of time and space, we can only but wonder at these events and interactions. We can of course blame cause-and-effect, and forever ask the question ‘why?’ without ever really getting an answer.

So what is reverse causality? Before I answer, it is imperative to understand that words are meaningless. Ironic, isn’t it, that this is the written or spoken word also. However, be that as it may – it is the meaning within the words that matters.

If I explain what reverse causality is, will that make you smart? Does that give you something to talk about that makes you clever with more knowledge? If so, then the answer will be lost on you. For to understand the workings of space and time is to delve into the innermost part of one’s being. To open your mind to things which may seem contradictory at first, and challenge one’s own identity of self.

Indeed, the journey within is the most important journey of all because it connects you to that “what” you are, beyond the limitation and illusion of your self. Similarly, to understand reverse causality is to feel whether it makes sense to you or not. Your inner will know. Your inner will tell you. Something inside you will trigger and say, “Yes, that makes sense. I must pursue how I feel to understand more.” As I say, it is the journey inward that will lead you home to an understanding of ‘what’ you are, and why you are here .. and where you need to go. Understanding anything, is a movement of awareness for all of us on the journey home.

Let us look firstly at ‘causality’. Causality is exactly that – something that happens which then causes an effect. What you perceive is happening in your life right now, is perceived to be the effect of a cause of some other event. Perhaps from a single event, or from a multitude. Sometimes you can identify the cause, other times the causes elude you.

But what if everything was in reverse to what you understand?

What if our perception of reality was really an experience of ‘reverse causality’? What if the cause of the ‘effect’ in your now is actually the ‘effect’ originating from a ‘cause’ located in the future? And if all time is simultaneous, then how can there even be a past or future at all?

That is where I take you back to the main point – our perception of time is a movement of consciousness through memory. That being so, then the past and the future are only perceptions of our reality. What does that mean? It means that when an event occurs at any point in time, it is like a small stone being thrown into a still pond. The stone creates a ripple that permeates the ‘medium’, the surface of the pond, and expands in all directions, both across the surface, and beneath it.

Our perception of life is like the surface of the pond. Let’s imagine, to the observer of the pond, that to the left side of the pond is the ’past’ and to the right side of the pond is the ‘future’. At some point in between, the stone is thrown and penetrates the water level. Whether we are standing in the past or the future, we will feel the effect. We will feel the ripple.

And so, a ‘cause’ that starts in the ‘future’ creates an ‘effect’ in the ‘past’ of the pond. Imagine for a moment we are back now in our lives, on the surface of the pond, walking through our daily routine… and, of course, an event that takes place that effects us. Did it originate from the future or the past? Which one is it? As all energy is magnetic, and karma in this reality we live in does not seem to function the way it is supposed to, then what affects you is determined by the magnetic value of a causal event somewhere in space and time.

It is reverse causality when the stone is thrown into the pond of our ‘future’, and we feel the ‘effect’ in the relative ‘past’ of where the stone struck the water. This is like time itself. Events are connected not through linear time, but through thought and memory, and the energy that permeates our reality and our minds every waking day and sleeping night of our lives.

Have you ever had an experience where something happens to you, and then sometime later an event occurs that relates directly to what already happened? Have you ever had deja-vu? What if deja-vu is the memory of the ‘future’ meeting you in the ‘now’ to remind you’ve experienced this moment before .. in the future. Is it the cycle of time repeating itself, where the future returns to become the past again? And so, this is all about changing our relativity. Opening our minds. I am telling you, reality doesn’t work at all the way you might think it does.

Whether something within time and space affects us personally, or affects the entirety of humanity, it depends on the nature and intent of whomever threw the stone in the first place, after all. And who would that be, I wonder? That is a story for another day.We have to let go of the misconception that time is linear. Time is an illusion, and all events are simultaneous. We need to open your mind to viewing reality as something that exists beyond the regular ‘knowledge base’ humanity is well known for. Whether we’re looking into the depths of our minds, at holographic principles or even the timeless evidence of simultaneous quantum realities .. we find the same thing – time does not exist the way we think it does.

What is ‘rational thought and wisdom’? many researchers spent copious amount of time applying what I call “the rubber ruler effect” to everything. They measure everything in an effort to try and force their theories of reality to agree with their limited field of observation. But if time is not linear, and all time happens at once, then that means time and space are also inter-connected, and the passage of time is the movement of consciousness from one point of memory to another. Only the now exists – and how do you measure that? You don’t. You have to experience it.

Time is also variable, meaning it can distort, quicken up, or slow down, depending on the state of energy of the space, and our perception of it. That is why I call measuring devices “rubber rulers”, because when reality is distorted .. so is the ruler. Because after all, the ruler is a product of reality, is it not? If one is looking at the ruler for guidance, then the measurement is as flawed as the instrument. The only true observation is the mind. Not equations. Not instruments. Certainly not the brain.

Causality, it seems, is an observation of how we perceive the events and circumstances of our lives. We see events unfold in our life and wonder at the reasons and meanings. We applaud the good events, and we despair at the unkind ones. We start to feel as if own personal plans are really no more than a ‘backup’ in case life itself decides to step in first .. and it is then we start to understand there is more going on here than most realise. There is a Greater Plan, and there also are forces greater than humanity existing and unfolding around us.

The Greater Plan works in a dimensional and timeless capacity. Life is but a limited dimensional perception of the complexity of what we call ‘reality’. If we are not aware of the true nature of time and space, we can only but wonder at these events and interactions. We can of course blame cause-and-effect, and forever ask the question ‘why?’ without ever really getting an answer.

So why do I say everything is in reverse? Before I answer, it is imperative to understand that my words are meaningless. Ironic, isn’t it, that this is the written or spoken word also. However, my point is this: it is the meaning within the words that matters. The message. To understand the nature of space and time is to delve into the innermost part of one’s being. To open your mind to that which may seem contradictory at first, and challenge one’s own identity of self.

Indeed, the journey within is the most important journey of all because it connects ‘who’ you to that ‘what’ you are, beyond the limitation and illusion of your self. Whether this discussion makes sense to you or not is a matter of how much ‘you’ can step aside and feel whether it makes sense or not. Whether an event within time and space affects us personally, or affects the entirety of humanity, it will depend on the nature and intent of whomever threw the stone in the first place, after all. And who would that be, I wonder? … That is a story for another day.

We all want to have someone looking after us, making sure we stay on track with what our destiny requires from us. Churches and Temples are full of such people, all wanting to stand out in the crowd so their hopes, dreams and prayers are heard above everyone else.

Gods and Deities have been fought over for thousands of years. Yet in all of this time, we have never been given anything from these Gods to finally bring the arguments to an end. Somehow, they have managed to send us representatives from all of the Gods throughout history, and because of this, the arguments and wars are still going on. Will the real God please stand up and put a stop to all of our nonsense, so we can finally get on with our lives and love one another like we are told that the Gods want us to do. Failing that, we’re just left to our own devices, and we’ll have to make the best of what we believe. In hindsight, that means nothing will change.

However, some believe that there is an alternative. It is called the New Age movement, composed of those who believe they have been chosen for a special mission. They don’t talk to God very much, but instead talk to Angels and Masters. Somehow these Angels and Masters seem to have the capacity to speak on behalf of the one true God to these chosen ones.

So what’s the mission? The message that comes from these Angels and Masters is a simple one. We must all trust and believe that we’re all Gods too. Wow! So many gods. People actually believe this, because they then decide they can create their own reality, their own destiny – because that’s what gods do .. they create. There’s great appeal in this alternative way of believing. You don’t have to worship Gods – all you have to do is worship yourself. Easy!

Then comes the next – you become a healer. Drawing upon your divine essence you place your hands upon the sick. Those wracked with a need to never be a God. Those who only want to be followers.

However, be sure you do not cough or sneeze upon these unfortunates whilst doing your divine healing. You may need to be healed by another got first, before commencing your healing on the sick.

Then there are others who allow the Masters and Angels to speak through them. Sharing words of wisdom and enlightenment. Helping the followers to live a life of a follower. To keep returning for more enlightenment, week after week, year after year. Remembering that all has its price, and surely a God needs to live a life that is deserving of a God.

Then there are those who neither believe or disbelieve. Instead they are open to what lives within them. The small voice that tries so hard to be heard amongst the sound of life itself. This small voice is the greatest spiritual adviser of all. For it belongs to you. It has always been with you, all of your life. It is your real true self. The spirit that rises above all belief. It guides you along on the pathway of life, so you can bypass all that is not true, all that is false and has been placed before you to prevent you from going home.

And to this small voice I would like to say .. speak up, be heard. It is time to awaken, for so many need to remember this is only a dream. It is time to go home.

by Jason Swaffield – an inspired communication about time, loss and the power of love.

Time. It is such a inexorable thing. It stretches out forever, it seems. And yet, when you want it to last it takes everything away from you. You want it to just stop, to cease moving, so the sadness can be staved away and the love can remain. But this is not what time does. It relentlessly, mindlessly carries forth.
You can’t be angry with it, it serves no purpose but to damage yourself. Time does reflect to us, though, what matters. I might say, ‘that is something to be grateful for’, but when the reflection is far too real and far too raw, it seems that gratitude is the farthest thing from my heart. Perhaps begrudging respect. Humility. The saying, “It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all” is so absolutely true. I would prefer a philosophy with a kinder range of options, though.
But nevertheless, that is not the nature of time. And when one is in singularity, with a one-way appreciation of events, that inexorable feeling just keeps going, forcing you to have to adapt and cope, or the tide of events will sweep you under.
Because that is what love is like within time, something that carries you along with it and takes you to places you never thought you could reach, or never imagined existed. And when it comes, when ‘time’ leaves you feeling stranded on the shoreline and carries love away with it, out of your grasp, it looks back at you with an eternal glance, daring you to never forget, to never let go, to always remember. Because time is not a friend. Not at all.
But if we can learn something from this perpetrator of unwanted events and passing moments, it is that it did not bring love into our lives, it merely swept us up in what we already knew was inside us already. It just eroded the facade that we all carry. And that facade is the image that love is not the most important thing in our lives. In our existence. In a moment, it reminded us that time is not a powerful thing to be resented and feared, it is just a memory carrier.
The most important thing is that it cannot carry any memory away, or erode any feeling, or leave you standing anywhere you don’t want to stand. It is powerless. For all its bravado, it is as meaningless as the illusion it tries to convince us of.
But rest assured, when you know this and look time directly in the face, right between the eyes, it will back down. Because you are the master of your love. Both for yourself, and the love you hold for others. You control your love, and what you do with it. Anything else is allowing time to own what is rightfully yours.
So don’t despair when you feel the loss of love. Don’t feel sad beyond repair when you feel broken and battered, ripped and torn apart. Don’t give in. Just know that it was your ability to love that got you there in the first place. That is what allowed you to ride the river, and not drop to the bottom like a dead, unfeeling weight.
It was your remembering of the love you hold within you that carried you all the way to right now. And your love now that embraces and carries with you the feelings you have, right now. Without love, you cannot be who you are. Without you, love has no one to carry it.
So carry love with you with every step. Carry as much as you can, wherever you can. Don’t ever stop, because if you do, time wins. Because time, remember, tries to convince you that it is in control of what begins and what ends.
It is up to us to show it differently, until we draw our last breath and return to the greater love that allowed us to understand personal love in the first place.

What is reality - The Journey Home

Throughout the ages this question has been asked by many great philosophers, scientists, mystics, deep thinkers, plus the ordinary folk, who are looking for the answer to ‘what is reality?’

For some people there is no question to ask.  It is quite simple.  What you can see and touch is reality.  What is all the fuss about?  Why even ask the question, when the answer is so obvious.  Some people can become quite irritated with the question, because they hold onto the comfort of knowing their reality is their security, and you just don’t mess with that!  Reality then becomes a fixed point of observation, filtered through their concept, which is based on their beliefs.

However, we live in a world that often has anomalies, whereby the safety and security of our reality can be challenged.  This can test our beliefs, as well as our security in knowing our place in the world we live in.

When we live through our identity of who we are, surrounded by what is known to us, there is often little room for something else to enter into our life that cannot be explained or understood.  This is where our good old imagination comes in.  It often takes the blame for things we cannot identify or explain, and coupled with time, whatever has happened can often get pushed into the back of your mind.

But what if you are someone who has had one or more experiences you just can’t explain.  Someone who just doesn’t want to forget what they have seen or experienced, but instead wants answers.  Answers to the question ‘what is reality?’  Perhaps you have no-one to talk to, because you’re afraid of people thinking you’re crazy.  You feel alone, isolated and confused.

If this is you, then you’re not alone.  There are so many people who are afraid to come forward to share their own experiences, but they’re there.  Perhaps you’ve seen something, heard something, experienced time slips or time loops.  There are so many different types of anomalies to show that reality is not fixed.

So who am I to share these types of comments with you?  Well I am someone who has had so many experiences throughout the past 36 years of investigation into ‘what is reality?’.. I believe I am well qualified to say it as it is.

This article can only touch the surface of ‘what is reality?’  However, what I do know after all these years, is that your reality will equal what you want to believe, rather than what it may or may not be.  People often have a ‘ceiling’ to what they will accept.  Even the most open-minded can have a limit to what they will allow themselves to believe.

Throughout my own experiences, especially in the earlier days, I created many ‘ceilings’ where I said “enough is enough”.  Yet I just couldn’t leave it there.  So I just kept on going.  As each ceiling was dismantled, I built a higher ceiling, and so on.

Every experience I had that defied logic or physics was always disputed by many people, whom I shared my experiences with, as being false or illusionary.  But I am here to tell you that’s just so wrong.  You cannot measure what cannot be measured.  I came to understand that reality is always shifting.  When you think you completely understand it, then it has a way of changing.

We are always dependent upon what is fixed, what is reliable, what is known.  That becomes our reference point, and we call it ‘our life’.  We hold onto that with everything we have, and we feel secure and safe.  Our beliefs become important to us, especially when these beliefs are shared by so many others.  We live as if they must be right.  So many people can’t be wrong .. can they?

So the thought of reality not being what it appears to be never enters most people’s thoughts.  However, when something happens that does not fit into what is referred to as  ‘normal’, then that leads to a decision to either leave well alone, or to take a good look into what it means.  This will then lead you to the question .. ‘what is reality?’
